I just bought a brand new Rockford P-500w amp and its bridged to 2 Sony Xplod 1300w 12's. I have the gain on the amp turned way down and also the sub output from my head unit turned way down...when i crank it the subs cut out during a loud hit of bass? Could it be a wiring problem or are my subs too crappy to handle the power my amp is putting out? I plan on getting 2 12''JL 600w w3's and with them i hope to NOT encounter this problem.
Anyone know anything about car audio?
