Anyone know any good horror films?

My Lovely boyfriend and I are having a night in, and we want to find a really decent horror film to watch ?
Anything a bit gory or maybe a psychological thriller of some sort?
Something modern?

Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated :)

I too like horror films and there's a couple i watched recently on my own in the dark and they really freaked me out, weird dreams hearing noises ect. all the good stuff lol.
the first one was paranormal activity, but i highly recommend Devil by m. Night Shyamalan, really good psychological with a bit of gore!!
 
after serving in the forces & having seen some scary things i never ever thought a movie would bother me until i watched the grudge, it scared the pants of me...

The ring is slightly freaky.
I always get freaked out by films that have strange children in them like Orphan.
