Anyone know a media player that can play all media files?

I have like 5 different media players on my computer so I can play media files of formats like WAV, MP3, AVI, MPEG, and all of the others we've all come to know and love. I was just wondering if anyone knows of one player that I could use to replace all of them. I used Nero Showtime once, but I am looking for a free one, and that one came with the pay-for Nero. Thanks, guys.
