I can only find ones that are a reading lelixels of around 800 or so and I need one on collage level. My teacher said it needs to be one recommenced for collage reading, like on a list for "collage bound" books... Or just any vampire/dark romance book with a high reading level/lexile...

Hi there. I think for the type of book your asking for would probably be in the lines of Dracula or an Interview with a Vampire. Vampire Diaries are also another good dark romance vampire book also with the Vampire Acadmey. Check them out and see if thats what your looking for.

The Darren Shan Series is a good vampire series. I'm not sure what level of readin its at, but goes against the usual storyline of 'all the bad guys die lets live happily ever after etc', so its more mature in that way. Even though its usually classified as young adult/teenage.
But there's also good stuff by Edgar Allen Poe in dark romance. That would probably help more.
