Anyone help me out with a popped cyst? raw skin now?

I feel like such an idiot now, i wish i could turn back time. I had a cyst on my face, and it went down after about 4 or 5 days. A mark was left there even though i didnt touch it, it was darker in color. So i decided to fool with it, and made matters 100 times worse. Now the area is like raw skin and red/cut sorta. It is hard to explain, but it happened because i pushed on the area. What is the best type of treatment for this? It is past the pimple part from what i believe,and more like a wound now from the pushing. Im thinking neosporin, any other suggestions?
 
ugh im in the same situation right now, and it totally sucks!! im doing neosporin, taking advil, and putting on aspirin masks to help with the redness. i've heard icing can be helpful too.
 
Take my advice:
Cut a slice of a cold (from the fridge) lemon, and rubb the place with it several times!!.....
Makes wonders!

thanks ill try the lemon thing, but what does it do? also is lemon juice the same thing or no? I dont have fresh lemons now, but can run and get some. lleess i thought i was one of the only people who made that big mistake, so your not alone. it just sucks cause it was almost all better, i should have just left it but no i had to make it worse. Im going to take some aspirin to, but it feels now i am confined to my home cause of this which sucks!!!! Im very depressed and i cant stop wondering when it will go away and get better, but i learned my lesson. I was actually really good when the cyst formed, i didnt touch it or pop it. It went down in a few days, but the after mark was bothering me so i thought it would be better if i pushed it, then pushed more and more, and you know what then happened.

The weird thing is about some acne, is that it actually gets better when u push it. I had spots before, where they were inflamed and swollen, but when i squeezed the stuff out, the redness went away and actually healed quicker. I now know though, u can never squeeze a cyst that has no head.
 
any luck so far? my face is still a mess- im sooo mad at myself!! i would have been completely clear right now. and even today when i woke up i picked at some of the scabs without even thinking- which is sooooo stupid!!

if you're finding anything that really helps heal the raw, scabbed skin, please please let me know!
 
I've done this so many times. Even though I know I'm going to make it worse, it's SO hard not to do it.

I see an RN for my skin care, and she always recommenRAB Neosporin. I prefer the cream to the ointment, as it's not so greasy. Cortaid will help with the redness, but the same nurse told me that too much can cause the skin to get thin, so just use a few times.

Most of all, be patient. It's not going to heal overnight. Just be patient and don't pick at it anymore (hard, I know, but it's the only way it will heal).
