Dr gave me Dexilant..I have never heard of this..I'm guessing it's really new..I don't like to take new things..does anyone have experience with it? How safe is it? Side effects?
Dexilant is an extended release PPI, formerly called Kapidex. The name was changed to avoid confusion with some other drugs. It is very similar to Previcid. I was on prevecid for years until it stopped working. I never had any side effects, but some people have headaches and nausea with it. Try a google search and you can find more info on it.
