anyone having trouble loading up gta4 saves for ps3?

wow...i deleted EVERYTHING gta4 related and it had to reinstall the game and it STILL won't even get past the "starting a new game..." screen

first day, internet fully enabled, no problems
second day, locked up on loading, so i turn off internet and it will load single player

Try to exchange the game. The game froze twice within 30 minutes for me one day, but for the other 20+ hours of gameplay it has been fine. I have a 60gb as well.

I had it sit on the loading screen last night and I restarted the PS3 and it worked fine I i have to delete my saved game i'm going to be pissed. I'm at 48% and 23 hours in.

well dont delete...try disconnecting from the psn network and then starting gta4

Just did and it worked. I wasnt deleting anyway i was gonna take teh game back and get a 360 version and tell teh guys at gamestop about it.

I just tried calling sony but didnt feel like waiting and figured they would tell me to talk to rockstar. I can't find a number for rockstar so I emailed them.
