anyone have the new no use or avenged?

oh god...i just heard a new a7x song and it is fucking terrible. i can't believe the direction the band decided to take with this new album. this is just complete dogshit. listen to it on their website and let me know what you think

i'm pretty sure it's the first song on the cd...go to theprp.com and there's a link on there. it says city of evil and such in the song and the name of the new album is city of evil
 
yeah what the hell they aren't even hardcore anymore .. but the song isn't that bad because their band is so awesome. the intro of the song sounded like it should have started with a growl or something. his voice is stupid now it's too electronically developed and he sounRAB like a pussy

my friend said he read in a magazine that something happened to his voice and his doctor said he couldn't scream anymore without causing permanent damage. i'm not sure if there's any truth to that
 
well, shit. Still decent music, but its like velvet revolver meets the vines. i hope the rest of the album is a little better. The music kicks my ass still, but the vocals just doesn't do it for me. To polished, i think. It lacks the hard edge that it used to have.

Hopefully thats what it is because all the young screamers go through that. hetfield has had a few perioRAB like that, and he obviously still has a set of lungs, so there is hope.

I hope a7x will put out a decent album, because i would hate to see the band break up or quit. i think they actually have a lot of potential to be a kick-ass band when they mature.

edit: spelling, and the track is called "the beast and the harlot" not city of evil. they sing "city of evil" in the lyrics though, so the song could reasonably be called that too.
