I can directly answer that question, as I have never been to a therapist & I'm sure they are helpful. However, I think there are alot of good books out there that really help. Sam Ortiz "Been There, Done That" is a great CBT book that many therapists actually use. Its short & pretty easy to follow. One great book though that really helped with anxiety & panic attacks was Edmound Bourne's Anxiety & Phobia Workbook 6th ed.

Thanks, I've been trying to get through, Feeling Good: The New Mood Therapy by David D. Burns, but it's pretty tedious ... about 700 pages.

Will research your suggestion.

Thanks.

No Prob! I bought Feeling Good also because it had great reviews, but I didnt make it past the first 200 pages. The Bourne Book is very big, but the format is very different, it's easy to read & you can skip around.
