i have had plenty of experience, i love ninjas! my first was a zx9r. i have had gsxrs as well and i definetly like the ninjas over them. i have owned 4 ninjas in the past 5 yrs. if you are just starting out on one, i would advise you to get a 600. after you ride it for a while you can trade it in on a higher cc bike. my suggestion would of coarse be the zx10r
