My husband has a pair of docs, that are black & silver with a Union Jack design across the toe like these: http://www.drmartens.com/ProductDetail.asp?PID=10950001 except the Union Jack is black and silver. He bought them sometime during the 90s and I would love to know more about them. I've searched forever and can't seem to find any info on them. Were they a limited edition? Can I still find them somewhere?
