i know that the city you live in along with alot of other factors determines prices.

i would definately shop around. i ended up going with AAA and pay $600 a year, full coverage.

remember that if you have a loan on your bike, there might be a clause or stipulation regarding coverage.

You really should do more research on your insurance coverage. That amount of coverage won't protect you at all if you have an accident of any significance.

I highly recommend that you read this pdf:

Also, try Allstate.
Sometimes they have great rates, but it really depends on your location.

BC.

I heard some people getting a note with their renewal stating:

So...even if that was the case...it is still kind of unclear...you don't race, you don't do competitive riding....but you still do high-speed driving...

I guess your best bet is to actually call them....

I have Nationwide full coverage and they paid to rebuild the duc after the deer incident. Almost 8k with gear and all replaced. Runs me about $250 per year. I'd check with them ASM!

Oh yea, my rates did not go up after the incident.

I'll give them a call tomorrow. State farm wants 1500/year for full coverage, that's 2k less than gieco, so we are getting there!

I printed this out to read tomorrow.

Thanks for all of your help everyone.
