From anyone who has been in any branch of the military thank you to anyone who answers because its a long question.
First thing i wanted to know is about eyesight, I dont know what standard my eyes are i dont know all the numbers like 20/30 etc but i do have a lazy eye i can see out of it but cant read much with it but my other eye is near perfect i can still see everything and it doesnt affect my day to day activity and id pass the eye test if they didnt cover one of my eyes..im just wandering if anyone knows if im likely to get into any of the branches or not....i know u prob dont know for sure but just any advice from what i told you.
the second thing is...i dont want to be in the military all my life so i want to learn a trade for civillian world, but i had my heart set on a infantry roll....is there anything in the military where i can learn a trrade and still have a combat role??
once im in the army am i in for the 4 years or is it possible to buy yourself out or any other way out??.....and i heard that even after the 4 years they can still force you to stay...is that true??
and i know whatever i go in im likely to be deployed to afghanistan i accept that but if possible id like to visit other countries other than just afghanistan like see other countries of the world aswell....what branch will give me the best chance of that?
