...showers? At a bar? restaurant? I want to have a baby shower that isn't the usual baby games, baby themed, pastel colors, mostly women, etc, etc, etc. I would like one that is fun, more like a party and a get together with people I don't get to see very often, which means guys and girls. Did anyone out there have a "different" kind of baby shower? Would it be too weird to have a private room at a restaurant, or have it on the huge patio of a bar we all love? Or what are some other ideas? Thanks!
 
Please DO NOT have it at a bar, it is not the right thing to do when having a baby. On the other hand have you thought about having it as a cook out and get together with friends and family alike, this would also make the guy's feel not so out of place and everyone would have a great time.
 
Well since I will be having my baby shower in the Summer we are just going to throw a party/barbecue with both of our families and friends. I don't know how "strange" that is but I am not into the whole girly stuff either. I don't think that it would be strange so have a shower at a resteraunt either, we had thought about that but I think a barbecue would be cheaper and people could mingle more and relax. Good luck!
 
At my baby shower there were two punch bowls. One was regular punch, and the other had a few extra ingredients if ya know what I mean. Dont worry though, nobody got drunk.
