I have been interested in the Mazda RX-8 for awhile now, but I am concerned about the rotary engine. I am in college considering the RX-8, Civic SI, Mazda3, RSX, and a Tiburon. All the cars that are similar to these three fall at about the same price range. From anyone that owns one, is the RX-8 worth the money and possible downfalls for someone who is 21? How expensive are the repairs and how often do you find the car has to go into the repair shop? I would like any advice that you guys have to offer and any information that will be useful for my decision.
