ANYONE GOT THEIR TEACHING DIPLOMA PASSED THEIR 30's?

This may seem like a silly question, but I just want to know if anyone got their teaching diploma(B.ed) and brevet d'enseignement in Quebec passed the age of 30.Teaching has been a life long dream for me since the age of 10.I got my pre university college diploma at 19.I took some university courses in various disciplines but I didn't have much success due to the fact that I was working and had other personal and family issues. So I gave up on my dream and tried to do other things (paralegal studies among them and various odd jobs).I just never got a break financially and that discouraged me greatly! Now that I'm 24 and have been working as daycare worker for the CSDM for almost a year,I'm making the firm decision to go ahead come hell or high waters to pursue my bachelor in teaching english as a second language.Since my GPA is low, my plan is to be an independent student(as of summer 2011) for a year and apply in february 2012 in order to start in september 2012@Concordia or McGill.By then,I'll be 26 and the programme takes 4 years.I know I'm still young but I just worry about life's unplanned events and interruptions...I don't know.Any answer is appreciated...Tell me your story or input.Obviously,I really want to teach because it's my calling.Money-wise, we all know that teachers are under valued...I hope the sacrifices will be worth it...
