Yeah but you pay P&P on amazon too dont you. Does anyone know the cheapest place to buy the blu ray that will definately include the DVD and definately include the cardboard slipcover? I know it sounRAB silly but i really want the complete package at the best price possible.
It looks like they have spread the extras across 2 discs so presumably many of the extras are in HD.
The Bond Blurays fit all the extras on one disc where the dvd's were 2 - but only one of the extras have been upgraded to HD so they dont need the space
32" is only marginal size, depenRAB how close you sit.
is it 720p? as for wide screen and bars. by definition if its very wide aspect ratio there will be bars. and how much of resolution delivered is rendered well by the tv depenRAB on its quality of course. but still as you can see from the shots, the source image is MUCH clearer pretty damn awesome seeing so much detail on old films. something almost no ones gotten to experience in quite a while.
be careful and check reviews.
contrast ratios are funny numbers that are easily fudged. so they are rather meaningless when comparing models across manufacturers.
Well according to the box and instruction manual it is 1080p, PS3 also chose the resolution of 1080p........so ive no reason to doubt any of them when they say it is 1080p. The bars isnt as much of a problem as i thought it would be. I will definately upgrade my TV within the next few months (hopefully) if not definately by the end of the year. I tend to use sites like www.hotukdeals.com to see what latest deals there are. Last month there was a Toshiba 42" 1080p for
Hmm good or bad? Im sure the transfer will be of good quality, but what does it say for the extras? Im sure some people will have recieved their copy this morning, maybe theyll give a review.
I use Amazon a lot for buying DVRAB these days cos they are so much cheaper. As for postage, you can get free delivery which takes a little longer. However, recent purchases from amazon have arrived within four days using free postage instead of 3 days if you pay for express delivery.
Being a regular customer, arent I the lucky one then?
I'm not really up on Cinerama but that one film stood out as I remember Video Watchdog going into great depths about its Laserdisc release and how it was difficult to put the superwide and slightly curved Cinerama onto any home format
