What can the problem be?
2000 Ford Contour SE - 4 cylinder - front wheel drive.
When I'm driving down the street I can feel something grinding and on some streets, me and others in the car can hear it. - it feels like its right under the petals.
If I accelerate or go on the freeway at high speeds the front left side starts to vibrate.
When I'm coming to a stop, it vibrates there too.
I have already taken it to about 5 or 6 different shops. One said my suspension, another said my tires need to be balanced, another said could be my brakes or rotors and the others couldn't figure it out....
I have already replaced the rotors and brake pads on both sides. New tires, and wheel alignment. Still has that issue...
Anyone Have a good Idea? I'm guessing its the CV joint or Wheel bearing. Can it be that or something else? At the last shop I went to, they said they checked the CV boots,bushings,shocks/struts but I'm not sure they really did...
