What were the primary reasons for the spanish colonization of the Americas?

what was the headright system? what were indentured servants? what problem did these systems solve for the jamestown colony?

How did nathaniel bacon feel about the native americans? why did he lead a rebellion against jamestown? what was the result of his rebellion?

Thanks.

Bacon was young, bored, angry and unemployed. He took to drinking and hanging out with others with whom he shared common interests. He blamed everyone but himself for his situation. That blame extended also to the Native Indians.

By the time Bacon had arrived in the colonies, all of the land around the waterways had been bought up. There were very few passable roads on which people could get their goods and produce to market. Most everyone used the waterways. That meant that they also had to pay those land owners for the use of their docks. The land owners charged whatever they could get.

Bacon couldn't find work and couldn't afford land. He got drunk and lead a riot to take over the finest homes and oust the government. He also tried to stir up resentment against the Native Indians, pitting colonialists against the Native Indians.

The end result was that the Governor went into hiding until all quieted down again. Homes were looted and ransacked and a number of people were killed. The British Army arrived approximately three months after the fact. Very few people went to jail.
