Anyone good at Brain teasers/Riddles (Part 2) ?

This is part 2 of my brain teasers and riddles! Here are a few, and see if you can figure these out!GOOD LUCK!

1)You are going into the refrigerator and you look behind the stove and discover a slice of breadyou misplaced several weeks ago. Needless to say,it is covered with mold. Since the mold started growing, the area it has covered has DOUBLED each day. By the end of the 8th day,the entire surface of te bread is covered. When was the bread half-coveed with mold?

2)To move their armies, the Romans built over 50,000 miles of road. Imagine driving all those miles! Now imagine driving those miles in the first gasoline-driven car that has only 3 wheels and could reach a top speed of about 10 miles per hour. For safety's sake, lets bring along a spare tire. As you drives the 50,000 miles, you rotate the spare with the other tires so that all four tires get the same amount of wear. Figure out how many miles of wear each tire accumulates.

3)A man with a seven-gallon bucket and a four-gallon bucket goes to a wall to get exactly five gallons of water. He has no container other than the buckets. How can he get EXACTLY five gallons of water?

4)Hector can run from the train station to his parents house in eight minutes. His younger brother,Darius can run the same distance eight times in one hour. (Not that he needs to!) Who is faster?

Once again,GOOD LUCK! =D
