Anyone going to see Gamer this weekend ?

I wasn't really interested in seeing it, but then i heard it was from the makers of 'Crank', now i can't wait! (if only to see how utterly insane it is):D

Seeing it in about 12 hours time. When I heard it was from the makers of Crank, it put me of slightly. But nothing can be as bad as Crank can it?

Just been to see it.

What can I say apart from excellent.

It's one of those films I thought I wouldn't like. As much as I tried to find fault in it I couldn't.
It had a mixture of everything in it. The comedy wasn't to over the top it was spot on.
Not particularity a long film at only 96 minutes but it really didn't need to go on for any longer than that.

Scary thing is that ll what the film is about doesn't seem entirely impossible in the next 20 years!!!!

I don't usually watch these sort of films, I prefer ones that have good stories and interesting characters. But, now and again it is nice to just switch off the brain and enjoy 90 minutes of guns and explosions and the like, so it seems that Gamer is perfect for that so I shall be enjoying myself mindlessly on Friday night :D

saw this last night, terrible.

are the directors 14 year old boys?? im all for mindless entertainment but this was so shoddy.

badly directed - in fact it was more like a long rnb video. the plot was incomprehensible. the action was cut so fast you couldnt tell what was happening.

as for their attitude to women...jesus. i was embarrassed watching it.

on another note - has gerard butler ever made a good film? he just seems to say yes to any old sh*t

I would describe this as harmless drivel. Enjoyed it enough, but would probably have preferred watching it at home so I could be doing other bits and pieces while it was on.

Michael C Hall is excellent though (to be expected)

I knew if I liked it most people would say it was a load of crap. I tend to hate films the majority like and like films the majority hate.

Still think it was a great film and the best film I have seen for a couple of months at least, I watch a lot of films as well.

i seen it the other night and it had a good premise but the movie was crap. but i knew it would be crap but i just wanted to go switch my brain off and watch stuff get blown up

if that's what you want then i recommend you see it
