Anyone Get The "SocialLife" Application To Work?

which is exactly the reason why using Java support for a phone OS is generally bad for income. Just look at the Linux world. Linux is open source as is the bulk of programs made to run on it. With open source comes free apps galore. I'm personally a big fan of Linux, however at the moment M$ holds the market when it comes to video gaming and related stuff that relies heavily on Direct X, not to mention that when it comes to hacking/modding a CDMA phone, Windows once again is the way to go in terms of applications that can be used.

Not everyone is out there to make money on their apps and there are undoubtedly many free Java applications out there designed to run on a Motorola Razr v3m (and others). Personally I've not looked into it since VZW is stuck with crappy BREW. Besides, with the tiny screen on the Razr and lack of a full keyboard, there's not any point in having applications on it in the first place. VZ Nav for one would be a pain in the arse on this phone.:p

If Java didn't make any money, it wouldn't control most of the wireless market. It has more market share then Windows Mobile, PalmOS, BREW, Symbian OS, Lunix, ect. It beats everything else hands down. So it makes big money, and lots of companies support it. BREW is the OS that has very little market share due to it's stupid licensing fees. Verizon would make a lot more money, and have a lot more apps, if their ditched BREW and supported Java; like 90% of the wireless world.

First off, calling me a dick isn't going to make me help you. Secondly, I saw Facebook when I downloaded for the second time. When I first got the app to work, there was no Glee; then next time I logged in there it was. So they might still be messing around with the settings, because this app didn't even work at all in the beginning.

That's the limit of help your going to get from me. Figure it out on your own.

((How does it link to your account?

Does it send you a text message after you buy it online?

EDIT: I bought it and theirs no Facebook dick

Man this application is such junk! Now I know why Verizon only charges $1.50 for it! It fails to log in often, and sites keep disappearing! I logged into Myspace to check my email; which it failed to log in. So I closed the app out, and when I re-open it, Myspace was gone! Then I had to wait 3 hours before it came back.

No one buy this thing right now! I'm getting ride of it. The idea is cool, the features are cool, but the product doesn't work well at all. I'm going to wait until they update it and put all the features and sites back in before I use it again.

i seem to recall saying something about just using the web browser to do that stuff. surely the web browser isn't broke?

sorry your having problems with a crappy app though.

The web browser in the Voyager isn't the best. It causes my phone to reset on different sites, or after a while of use. So an app is always easier to use then a slow browser. I will still use that application, once they hopefully update it within the next few months. The app is 10 times better then using the Voyager's browser.
