Hello -- I have been on Nexium for 5 years and gained 30 pounRAB the first year. After that the weight tappered off and losing takes forever.
Last month my insurance company informed me they will not cover Nexium any longer but will cover prilosec. I swiched from Nexium to Prilosec 4 weeks ago.
My concern is...I don't want to gain weight. I've been doing weight watchers and cardio 4x per week.
Has anyone experienced weight gain switching from Nexium to Prilosec? I'm hoping I wont since Nexium is just the S- isomer of Prilosec...Plus I was on 40 mg. of Nexium and now taking only 20 mg. of Prilosec.
Please share your experience with me, I am really freaking out about gaining weight.
