Anyone flash the Walmart Razor and activate?

if it didnt work i dont see why you couldn't return it

clickS and WAP is an issue but people claim to have fixed this in the past

I found a person who could flash it. He said it would get everything (including clicks, travel time, internet etc) except MMS (which isn't a issue for me). The price of the phone was just too good to pass up. Cricket wants around 300 for the phone here.

I haven't heard about this sale, could someone post a link for me or just tell me what the price is. And if this is the razor V3c (which I don't know if it is or not), then there is a full flash file on this forum and the process should be possible and enable all of those features.

yea its only $114 bucks at wal mart its the verizon grey v3c same one that cricket has... its on walmart.com under cellphones and yea there's a full flash for it it dont see why it wouldnt be possible????????? it does say under the phone description that the phone has to be used on prepaid for 6 months before it ca be activated on an account...does this mean its locked?

Yes I have bought one and done it. I have phone and SMS only, no travel time, clicks, or internet. The flash I found here on the forum was poor. The phone has a subsidy lock you have to find first before you can flash the PRL.

oh cool! where did u find the code at??? and did u try the full cricket v3c flash with mms and wap on it?? cause i think u have to put in the mms setting before u flash it then they should work after flashing it.. thanxs for the info tho ima get one right now lol im still a lil confused about the flashing process but ill try lol

nice price! thanks for showing me.

@sinoloco69in: yes, that probably means they locked the phone, but there are ways around that and I believe you can find the subsidy lock code in one of the seems of the phone.

@chasone: what do you mean by the flash was poor? wouldn't it have to be the same as eveyother oem flash? maybe we need the flex files too.

Well i'm used to flashing GSM phones, when you flash a GSM (as in Cingular to T-mobile) you can re-brand the phone. This flash still leaves all the Verizon logo and info on the phone, there is nothing cricket. I'm told I have to manually add a cricket clicks logo, and program mms etc.
