Hi there, my name is Katie and I'm 24. I'm looking for some general advice or answers. One of the main things I suffer with is uncomfortable, hard to touch abdominal bloating, I look pregnant, seems to be worse at night time. I have also gained weight especially around my abdomen, hips and face, but my arms and legs have remained fairly normal. I feel tired all the time and it doesn't matter how long i sleep for I will still feel this way, I get aches and pains in my legs and feet especially when first getting up in the morning. I have developed a swelling on the back of my neck, which is obvious from a side view, I noticed this because I have a tattoo on the back of my neck and I noticed I could see this in the mirror side on without having to turn because its right where the swelling is. My eyes can appear puffy and have dark cirlces around them, Sometimes i have increased urination and getting up through the night to go to the toilet, coupled with this i have increased thirst. My perioRAB are also irregular. I've found that I can bruise easily too and I dont know if its to do with feeling tired but I find it difficult to focus and concentrate sometimes and I can slur my worRAB or get them all muddled. Its really quite hard to sum up how I feel apart from I just don't feel myself from time to time. I googled some of my symptoms and some link in with Cushing's syndrome, especially the swelling on my neck, I really don't know what to make of all of this and if anyone has any advice for me or has had similar experiences then I would be happy to recieve your advice :)

Your symptoms sound like it could be any nuraber of things, but you really should get to a Dr. and get some tests. I'm really sorry to hear you are going through this. I hope you get some answers and some medical help soon!

From our experience with my wife, you are describing cushing's. You need to get to a doctor (Endoc if possible) to get tested for your cortisol levels. Sooner you figure out what is happening, faster healing. Good luck.
