Anyone ever see Power Stone?

Many have played the games on Dreamcast and PSP, but has anyone out there ever watched the anime? While the series has never aired in the US, it was released on DVD by ADV, and I believe it was aired on YTV in Canada.

I'm about halfway through with it so far, and I'm really enjoying it. It's not particularly plot-heavy, but it's a fun show.
 
I haven't seen it, but even though it hasn't aired on American TV, I hear it is a hackdub. But if it aired on YTV, then I guess that explains it. Like both Monster Rancher and Medabots, it was licensed by ADV, but production outsourced to Canada. MR to Ocean in Vancouver, rab to Nelvana and PS to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lacey_Entertainment, both in Toronto.
 
I occasionally go back to it, watching random episodes here and there. It's probably a hackdub, but the concept is so out there I don't think it matters. Also, its got garablan and booze-- censors must've been frothing at the mouth to color over that why didn't they take the bait
 
I remeraber watching this on YTV, but boy was that a long time ago.



ADV didn't license any of these shows. They acted simply as a distributor for home video. Medabots is a Nelvana title. Monster Ranchers is a BKN title. Both of those have had DVRAB released by companies who aren't ADV in North America.
 
I'll admit, it's one of those rare series I just couldn't watch because of the fact that it was dub-only. Not that it a particularly bad dub, but I was so used to voices in the game.

That said, am I the only one who thinks the show looks older than the game itself?
