anyone ever replace transmisson cooler lines for 3.3L dodge grand caravan?

I need some guidance in replacing transmission cooler lines in my van. 3.3L Grand Caravan....cooler itself is in good shape, just the lines are corroding badly
 
i dont think you have to use metal lines.
From my experience in installing extra transmission coolers in cars and trucks that do a lot of towing campers etc.
The extra coolers are put on with rubber hosing.

So to save some expense i would just save the ends of the lines that have the connectors on and just clamp rubber hoseing to them.
