have a 1984 Chevy C10 with a stock 350 and automatic transmission. I also have a 94 Chevy 2500 Cheyenne with a 4.3L V6 and a 5 speed manual transmission. I want to take the 84 body and put it on the 94 chassis. That way I have the more modern suspension and electronics as well as the better gas mileage of a smaller engine and standard tranny. My dad and a few buddies of his/mine are all ganging up on this project so Im sure we'll get it done... I'm just curious if anyone else has taken on a similar swap and what experiences you've had with it.
