Anyone ever convert to a jockey shift?

No but I did read on here that one of the member did it. Got a ticket from a local police officer for it
Not sure what the end result on that was.

La Briola machine makes the world famous LA Jockey shift for Harley's. Quite a few guys over on the Soft Tail forum use them. I can get the address and phone number if you're really interested. I think Dr. V Twin handles them too.

I have a freind that converted his 03' Fatboy to suicide clutch and a tank shifter. I can't tell you why, but he did. Don't know off hand if it was a kit or what, I could find out, if need be, if your really interested. Again I can't imagine why you would want too. With all the hopping and skipping at take offs in any kind of traffic your screwed. On the open road they're not much problem. Tried to learn on a freinds Knuckle a couple life times ago and what a PITA that was. Some guys make it look easy, but it sure as Hell isn't.

not a jockey shift, but i did a rocker clutch/tank shift on my 98 road king. used parts from v-twin with some modifications.

later, made my own suicide clutch/tank shift for the same bike. it was lots of fun. not so much fun riding 2 up with a lot of stop and go though.

I just looked at their site. I'm going to pm the doctor to see how muchbthey can get it for. I believe drew from the dr. has it on his bike.

now if you really wanted to go "retro" you could use the old style foot clutch and jockey shift and then use a mousetrap eliminator to bring it back to foot shift. just a thought. the foot clutch might have the cool factor, but there's a reason it's no longer used. imagine trying to kee your bike in gear on an upgrade while at a stoplight. for the novelty it'd be okay, but not for me.
