..never feature a valid question from the politics section, in the "best of yahoo" spot on the home page of Yahoo Answers ?

instead it's always questions about living green, or getting gum out of your hair.... or how do you make homemade potato chips...?

While it's good fyi most of the time, it seems like they have a policy not to put anything from certain sections of YAnswers..., which seems to include the politics, religion, and maybe a few other sections....

can you think of any other sections they might be ignoring intentionally ?

I realize that Politics section can be a sespool sometimes, but there are some valid, unbiased questions out there.

They want to seem non partisan , we do not lean one way or the other . "wink wink " from Y/A

they are following Sammy Kershaw's song and not posting anything to do with politics, religion, or her. except with yahoo...its sex they don't post as "her" replacement.

Politics and religion causes more animosity than any other topics in the world.
No two people can ever agree 100% with each other when it comes to these subjects, so I believe this may be the reason Yahoo will not feature them, to keep the feuding down to a mild clamor.

because every time a well thought out question is asked one without a seething double meaning, the answers it generates is filled with hate and slander. this is the sickest section of answers ever

I think the whole "no politics" thing is to try to keep that part of Y!A a little clean. Even if you had a brilliant question, and nothing but brilliant answers, people would start clicking on the politics section and then its 'welcome to hell' kind of thing.
