This has happened so often I don't think it's a coincidence anymore.
When I get stressed, I seem to invariably throw my back out. Yesterday I did all the "right" things- I stretched in the morning and throughout the day, did some yoga poses (planks etc) to strengthen my back and core. We're selling our house and this lady who is very interested refused to wait until this weekend when we're having our open house and so I was in a mad rush last night to clean the house. I didn't do anything really out of the normal, no heavy lifting or really awkward poses. I was scrubbing the walk in shower and WHAM- my back went out and now I'm useless. I can't stand up straight, can't sit or lie down comfortably, can't bend over, have leg weakness, have trouble getting in and out of the car.
Does anyone else notice that they have more back problems when they are stressed? Any suggestions beyond what I'm already doing? I'm at my wits end because it seems like when I need my back the most, it fails me.
