Man, I thought anyone saying this was lame/meh was way off...
...but then I listened to it when I got home.
I think it's alright, but nothing what I expected. I'm glad Vin is back on the drums, and they sound nice and tight as usual, but the vocals...I just can't get into them. I like Mudvayne alright, and think his vocals fit that band better.

Plus if you listen to vinnies drumming it's just really basic rock beats. Nothing compared to what he used to do. You're right, it's nice and tight, very solid. But just boring and...well i'm too lazy to explain further so I'll repeart "meh".

"meh" really is the best way to sum it up from what I heard.
The drumming didn't have that signature Vinnie sound. I though the bass drums hit pretty good (like in the chorus of the title opening track), but I really don't think I'd know that was Vin if I didn't know going in. SounRAB like a really good drummer, not Vinnie.
I was really looking forward to this album too. There's always hope for the unreleased Damageplan tracks...
