Anyone else enjoying Film 4's Fright Fest season?

On the whole, I am! I love horror films and it's great knowing there will be at least one on every night.

There's been some misses of course- Vinyan last night was a complete waste of my time, more a psychological thriller I guess and meandered along too much to maintain my interest, but mostly, some fun movies.

It's just a shame they have to resort to repeating them so soon.

King of the Hill is worth watching, that's on tonight I think. It's not a HORROR, more thriller, but still worth it.

As for the rest, I've seen most of them and the others I'm not going to bother with(Blood and Chocolate for example).

My son is. He's filling up my PVR's hard disc with them, much to my disgust because I don't like them as a rule. Honourable exception: 'The Innocents'. Now, that film is a masterpiece of suspense and atmosphere instead of the usual tasteless blood bath. I also like the original 'Psycho' for much the same reason, but as far as I know it isn't part of the season.

Maybe I'm missing some gems but I don't even bother looking what's on Film 4 these days.

Non-HD and far too regular ad breaks = no thanks

Only seen 28 Weeks Later. Didn't bother with hills Have eyes remake again because it is shite. Rooted for the cannibal family as the "normal" family are far too stupid to be allowed to live.

Film 4 really does need to sort its act out. Too many repeats unfortunately.

Its all been a bit disapointing again this year - like it is every year they have done it lol

I wish they would show more classic horror and why repeat someoff the films thoughout the week?

Agreed on Vinyan, I failed to see any type of horror in that one at all

Watched both Wrong Turns (surprised to enjoy the second more than the first), and the Hills Have Eyes remake (one of the better remakes I've seen), plus the other film here and then. I had taped Vinyan as well, but EVERYONE has said nothing but bad things about it, so deleted it.
