Anyone Else do the upgrade to .101 ???

I think you are referring to my post...

For me, .101 OS upgrade resulted in calls being dropped frequently throughout the DFW area (stationary and driving), and I was no longer able to use the phone as a tethered modem with either of my laptops - verified all my settings and went through the entire set-up process again to verify that it was the phone and not the computer.

I have not seen anyone else report a problem with tethering yet, so it could be unique to the Dallas/Fort Worth network.
 
Thanks, Lux. I posted the querry on the .101 thread and 7100sib said he does it all the time--no problem. I haven't found anyone else with issues, so I think I'm gonna take the plunge. I do know that at one point I had to change the settings on my connection on the laptop to get tethering to work. It was working fine, t-mobile changed something, then I couldn't get it to work again until I called them and they gave me a new string to type in. Maybe something like that's knocking you out... Although I guess if you can get it to work under previous OS again it's probably something else.
