I decided to go around TMO and upgraded to .101 I have not had any issues as of yet. It works well and have alittle better life of the battery too. Just wanted to share this.. Anyone else have good luck or bad luck in doing this? Please share..

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~i did it and had no problem doing in it, u may want to try to unlock the vendors themes also.
In my case I've been experiencing more dropped calls, but I've only been with it about a week, maybe its too soon to blame it on .101

I did and so far I have had to drop back down all the way to 0.64 tmo OS due to dropped calls and breaking up call quality. I hadn't had it on any OS until .101, but in downgrading, it remained on .73 and so far seems resolved on .64
I really don't get it, it doesn'tr make sense, .73 worked great the first time around. I am not completely willing to blame the OS. Once I establish that .64 is ok for sure (more time) I probably will give .101 a try again.
In talks with tmo BB help about this and my GF's call dropping /quality probs on her tmo 8800 (probably bad SIM) they encouraged me by telling me that the new tmo OS should be out soon! I hope they are right. What does "soon" mean anyway?

I switched to .101 and have no problems if anything the only thing I get is a delay when I hit symbols it takes like 2 secs and drags really slow when I scroll thru them. This has happened since the .96 update of at&t before that I had .64

I read on the .101 thread that a tmobile user's tethered modem ability died with .101. Any of you guys run into that? I've been running .94 for quite a while with an occasional little hiccup now and then, but by and large problem free and fast. Definitely a little more battery intensive than .73, but the increased image browsing speed more than makes up for that. I have never experienced a dropped call in several months of .94. Should I go to .101 if I need tethered modem?
