I am making a romantic Valentine's Day dinner for me and my man and one of our favorite restaurants serves a beef tenderloin with a cabernet sauce so we decided this year instead of going out and wait an 90 mins just for a table we are going to try and make it ourselves. I have everything I need except the wine. I have only had one glass of wine in my entire life so I have no clue what to ask for. I don't want to spend a whole lot of money because I'm not drinking it but I don't want something bottom of the barrel either because the wine is a major part of the sauce. Just a middle grade that isn't too expensive. What kind should I get and about how much will it cost? Thanks for any help!
