Anyone Dislike The Progressive Touring Link

Harley used to use 'cleve blocks' as swingarm bearings, which were guilty of sideways motion in the swingarm itself, but they were replaced around 2002 I believe, so more recent bikes don't suffer from that problem.

You are quite right that the extra stabilizer cannot cure that problem. It is there to support the rubber mounts each side of the swingarm mount, which support the rear of the transmission in the frame.

I got some vibration at the floorboards after installing the touring link. Not too bad but it was noticeable.

About a month later I installed some Ohlins shocks and kudo's to Howard for telling me the correct way to mount shocks by starting at the bottom and shimming the top. The vibration at the floorboards instantly stopped and entire bike felt more solid.

Unfortunately I had to send the shocks back for re-valving and re-springing so I put my old clunky air shocks back on after changing the oil to a heavier weight and by using the method Howard described to put the old shocks on the old shocks felt remarkably better. So much better in fact; I wouldn't have felt the need to buy aftermarket shocks because the dampening was better in the shocks and the vibration was still gone in the floorboards. Over all the Ohlins are still better though.

I installed it a few weeks ago and must have done something wrong cause I can't tell a difference in handling. I still get the wobble on the highway at 70 mph during turns.
Any suggestions or adjustments?

got progressive link since one year and no added vibration. For me i'll never take it off because now the Ultra ride well and no excessive wobble.
