Anyone buy Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs on blu ray yet??

Haven't bought it yet, but I will.

I've been in a "Disney" mood this past week. Just finished watching the animated version of "101 Dalmations" again. LOVE IT!!!

Just thought I'd hijack this topic since it's a question for an animation blu ray.

Does anyone know if the blu ray edition of Up, from America, will work on a British non multiregion blu ray player?

I remember someone mentioning certain Blu-Rays from America will work fine.

Region A Locked apparently, just seen a few sources and it's a no go for us, shame I thought of getting it too. Axel Music is always a good source to find out what's locked and what's not.

Ah, I bought that 4 disc dvd/blu ray combo of Up.

Do you mean you can hack it to make it multi region, so it can play an blu ray from around the world, AND also any region dvd? because if that's the case is this one worth buying? good quality player do you know?

Do you really wanna buy a new player? Seems like a false economy, unless of course you plan on buying more and more R1 titles. Otherwise I'd sell the R1 Up on ebay and wait for the R2 to come out, but that's just me. Saying that hough, if it does DVD's too, mmmmmmmm. I bought a cheap Logik BD player for the bedroom, really good machine, but no region hack as yet:(

I only suggested it may be false economy if the guy already has a bluray player and this is just to play UP on it. I certainly don't dispute the bargain factor, but thanks for your input.

My apologies . You did not mention another player in your post so it was unclear thats what you meant.

If that is the case then you are completely right - not worth buying another player just to play UP

Sorry for the gender Clanger:o. I should look at profiles I guess!! As for the bluray, of course if you don't have one then of course get a multi region if you can, wish I had now 'cause there are some R1 titles I'd love to get (Planet of the Apes boxset), but I'm sure you don't need me to tell you that:D

Edit: Actually there is no way of telling a posters gender, unless the name is obvious or it's on the profile.... ah well!!

I've no idea why Phillips manufacturing is so bad.
All home entertainment equipment I've ever owned made by them has been awful .

They are great with ideas and research and development but I can only assume their quality control is poor.

Ultraviolet looky here.

If I was in your position I would buy this yesterday.
At that price you can't lose - although I think its refurbished it comes with a warranty.
Thats the machine I was on about.

Maybe ask the seller if they know the hack or find it elsewhere- but if you can spare the cash you could be viewing UP in 1080p by the weekend
