I work for Sally Beauty Supply in Indiana, is it lawful for my District manager to tell my manager that all of the adult employees HAVE to take a 30 min unpaid break after 7 hrs? My new manager is going to make us take a 30 min unpaid break after 4 or more hours? I think this is absoluty ridculous! I feel that my company is making me work more hours then I need to. Also, If i decide not to take these unpaid breaks when we are told to and get fired can I do anything about it?
