Anybody tried QuickWrite?

I wonder if in practice it's better than straight T9. A reviewer at download.com called it "cumbersome."

I have tried it and do not like it at all. You need to use standard text entry (as in "C" = "2" "2" "2") and then after a certain amount of letters entered it begins to recommend words. Still a PIA to enter words IMO. Would be awesome if it supported T9 AND suggested words because unlike T9 it recommends your most commonly used words first.

when u need to type the special characters (!@#$%..etc..)
the "#" key will only come up with a blank list
