NO JEEP is a piece of ****. They are dependable and reliable cars, and sure no car is perfect, that's why theres always someone who complains. If you take proper care of them, they will be fine for the most part. I also recommend getting one with the legendary 4.0L I-6. It'll be more fuel efficient, and although it may not be as powerful as the 4.7 V8, it will last much longer. The 4.0L is known for running for a very long time. I've heard of one guy having his with 289,000 miles and he still uses it. I would say go for it; get one with under 100k miles if you can, with the 4.0L, and the Laredo package, especially if $ is an issue. The Laredo comes standard with the 4.0L, but it also has a 4WD transfer case as opposed to the Limited's AWD. You don't really need 4WD in the city on a nice warm day, but in the winter its great. The limited has 4wd on all the time, and you can only go from 4HI to 4LO. With the Laredo, you get 2HI, 4 PartTime, 4 FullTime, (4HI), and 4LO. You could also just go with a 2WD Grand Cherokee, but that defeats the whole purpose of getting a Jeep.
