Anybody looking forward to naughty Notting Hill Carnival headlines?

Realise some idiots will want to make trouble and fools of themselves (despite that, it's better than it was 30 years ago, when the police used to do a bit of winding up themselves), but does anyone from London experience a deja vu when the papers and computers start off with 'Notting Hill bursts into life'/'Notting Hill Carnival off to a peaceful start' - and the stormer from ITV 'Tight security as Notting Hill Carnival starts' and other sections of the media making sure squeezing in obvious words. My son always comes over from Germany to attend it, and was amused at the word 'terrorism' being slyly inserted into stories concerning it. I often wonder if this is the media's efforts to have less people show up (and make it easier for the police to guard!).

It's something you will just have to accept. There are always people who will want to kick off, and the papers will be there with cameras, wanting to snap young hooligans. But you can't blame the press for their headlines - August bank holiday is usually the time when the press have nothing to do but give us stories about C-List celebs, and others who usually are ignored throughout the rest of the year!
