Anybody knows side effects of Tumeric?

I am taking Tumeric which is great for my sinnus, I took eight days and I now have some dark red patches on my arm. Is this side effect of tumeric? Anybody knows? I appreciate an answer. tks

Rashes have been reported in cancer patients taking high doses of turmeric.
