Anybody know if you have to pay the$9.99 data plan for Verizon phones at Walmart?

It depends on what phone you get. If you get any 3G multimedia phone or Smartphone then yes. Simple phone, then no data plan required (but those phones are fug). There is no way around it; Walmart is simply a vendor and they must adhere to Verizon policy.
 
Hey, I was wondering when you go to walmart to buy a verizon phone, do you still have to pay the $9.99 data plan? I'm really trying to avoid it, I have no need for it. Thank you very much
