Anybody know any headphones that are better than Sony Dynamic stereo headphones...

...MDR-V150? These headphones are in good condition but I am just looking for some better sound quality.
In my opinion these are great headphones. I am looking for some good headphones for around 100.
I want some that brings a good experience to a rock/metal listener. Any suggestions?
