Alright, I'm about to take my girl out on a ride this coming friday but was hoping for something a bit more scenic.

So i was wondering if anybody knew a site that tells you when the sun sets in a certain location.

I was hoping to go out for a short ride, watch the sunset, and grab some dinner.... But I'm not even sure what time the sun sets..haha.

Sorry if it's a stupid question. Let me know guys, thanks!

I believe if you go to the weather.com/weather.ca site, depending on where you live, you'll be able to punch in a city or town and it says it on every page.

If you pay attention to what time the sun sets today and assuming your approoaching the summer solstice in the northern henisphere, then the sun will set a few minutes later tomorrow.

You're not going to pop the big question are you?

Well, not knowing what city, state, country, or hemisphere you live it, might be tough to make a specific recommendation.

Overall, I would suggest West horizon, rather than N, E, or S.

But, seriously....your local weather site, or yahoo weather or weatherchannel or weatherdotcom probably can tell you when exactly when the sun will set in your area.

Locally, I like various places along Pacific Coast Highway, natch....

Have you tried google?

This turned up for me from the Australian google http://www.ga.gov.au/geodesy/astro/sunrise.jsp

If you have an equivalent where you are. Bear in mind these times are calculated theoretical times and local conditions may influence. Obviously you don't want high mountain ranges to your west for the wow factor. My first suggestion still stands. Do your recon first.
