I went to canada when i was 18.

I hope all you americans who supported the draft and the war rot in hell, i had to wait until i was 27 to come back.

If it wasnt for the far right, the war would have never happened, and even if it did, power would have been lost, and draft dodgers like me, would have not had to goto canada, and people would not have turned me in.

Cost me $300 bail and i went to canada from a right wing scumbag that turned me in, i hope he is rotting in hell

And you didn't claim Conscientious Objection why?????? You could've gotten out of the war and stayed in America....making your point more valid.

At different times you've claimed that the right wing forced you to go to Canada when you were drafted in 1968 (a democrat was President), you claimed that you evaded the draft during the first Gulf war and went to Canada (there was no draft at the time), and you have fretted that the draft is returning and you need to evade it (even though there is no such legislation being considered).

So can we conclude that you are a 60 year old former draft dodger who is afraid of being drafted again?

If you were really a Vietnam Era draft dodger you would know that it was establishment liberals, not right wingers, who got us in the war in Vietnam.
The right wing had no power base until '68.

It may have been a bad deal, but in the end you made the decision to run away. Take some personal responsibility and stop blaming others.

I wasn't born yet.

sorry, but I cannot relate

my dad enlisted but he was going to be drafted anyway. He got to choose the Navy over the Marines and that might have saved his life
