Okay, my thinking is this. If there is any "rocking" in the side to side movement, wouldn't this cause the wrist pin to also rock which in turn would cause the piston to rock within the cylinder?
The only reason I ask this is being an "old" motor head from the 70s, I would shiver at this type of movement from a connecting rod bearing. I know, this is a harley and not a v-8.
