I have seen several sample videos but none of them in bright light! I want to go "cheap" on an HD camera but perhaps this is "too cheap". If so, where do I look to get something of decent quality starting slightly above $500? As of now I can't handle AVCHD on my aged Mac (which I hope to replace ASAP) so that encoding is temporarily ruled out. It MUST be capable of 720p or 1080i as well as the old Mac can't handle 1080p either. The camera can be capable of 1080p as long as I can set it to 1080i. Thanks!
