Anybody Get NASCAR Hot Pass?? (Free Preview on Feb 14)

Anybody buy NASCAR Hot Pass,Is it Worth the $159.00?

Just thinking about it.

I'll be having a look at the free preview on the 14th.
In addition of the 5 SD channels,there are 2 channels in HD.
 
I personally wouldn't pay for it...It's free on other providers, Bell should follow.
 
I had hotpass a few years ago - only for one season. It was a novelty that got old fairly quickly to me.
 
In 2007 and 2008 it was worth it but last year the package got a real major downgrade and the price on Bell TV stayed high. I personally didn't think it was worth it last year and have since canceled it.
 
Had it for 3 years prior to last year. Canceled it with the uncertainty of the service at the beginning of last year. If you do order it just be aware that you're stuck with it and can't cancel it. With TSN and TSN2 you won't miss a race all year. Only reason to have it is if you want to flip to one of the drive channels while commercials are on. Altho in the past they cut the audio to the driver channels when there was a commercial on the main feed so you're just watching soundlessly.
 
That is WAY too expensive. What is there extra that you can`t get on TSN HD or Fox HD for the live races and then Speedtv has like 200h of Nascar programming a week. They should get rid of that Nascar Hotpass and get Speed HD instead.
 
In Ontario it is my understanding that you can't use negative billing. Isn't this automatic renewal just that?
 
I am not a lawyer, but I think it is legal as long as you are up front about the automatic renewal and you agree to it (by subscribing), you are on the hook for it until you cancel. I don't like the practice myself, but probably the only way they keep subcriptions up on these channels.
 
Thought hotpass was on free preview this weekend?
Nothing on it so far. Great preview...
 
The sd works for free preview but the hd doesn't. If the hd doesn't work I wouldn't even consider buying it.
 
Definately wouldn't purchase this package in SD only. I can see where the novelty would quickly wear off.
 
Bell has updated the guide for the HD channels. At noon, they were "Dale Earnhart Jr" and someone else on the other, then when the race started they were "off air" with the info giving the ordering info channel, now they state that the "Hot Pass HD channels are unavailable due to technical difficulties".

If they were hoping to attract new customers, this is not the way to accomplish their goal...
 
I wasn't impressed with the free Preview,the HD channels were having technical difficulties,nothing to see there.
The in car camera channels were kind of boring,with sound being cut off during commercials,that was the only time I would tune in.

I think I will pass on this offer.
 
Definatly not worth it anymore now that they definatly cut the video and audio from the track during commercials. No point. Used to love it so i could skip the commercials.
